“and there came an arm and a hand above the water and met it and caught it, and so shook it thrice and brandished it, and then vanished away the hand with the sword in the water.”
Oooooo Julie, these are wonderful! One of these days I am going to take out my soldering kit (it's never been opened) and teach myself to solder!
Wonderful job sweet one! I am enjoying my Halloween Highness Hat. It is totally awesome. I am loving the flowers too and am going to be creating something with them soon.
Please email me at coastal.sisters@verizon.net. I need your address because I have a wee something to send you!
I love the Wizard of Oz...especially the balloon & the Horse of a different colour & the lollipop kids and the tin man..I think your soldered pendants are just fab pixiestick! Hoping all is well with you my friend There's no place like Home.click click click Rainey xx
I just watched Wizard of Oz, for the 1000th time a week or so ago...it's my favorite! I remember when the wicked witch use to scare me....now the entire movie is just charming....and I love the charms that you have made...lovely!
Oz is such total jewelry bait. It's the Emerald City, f'gosh sakes! And why isn't there a color coordinated line...ooh,to be a jewelry maker with the ideas I've got right now!
You know my favorite character in the books was always Scraps, the Patchwork Girl. She was so fun and smart. And total commentary. But that's another post.
I'm a mom to 3 amazing boys, and wife to a music aficionado. My artsy crafty business, Mermaiden Creations, has grown and evolved over the years out of an obsessive compulsive need to create and articulate the constant stream of ideas flowing into my head. For me, creating is an exercise in magic. I find the polarity of weird beauty fascinating, as well as the combination of things dark and light. I love to listen to weird folk music and read fantasy novels and archaeology text books. You'll find me at weekend kids sports events or well past midnight donning my favorite witch hat.

Three cheers for the wizard...he may have been a "fraud" in one way but he was completely genuine and sincere in the way that matters!
