Keys have their own curiosity, and antique ones have it exponentially. I have the most wonderful stash of skeleton keys from the late Victorian era, anywhere from 1890-1910. They are worn and nicked, tarnished and crusty, even after being cleaned. What treasures!
Elements for a mysterious fairy tale, not quite sure of the ending. Silk roses, a fair auburn-tressed maiden, sparkling jewels, a very old key, and a skull.

Stunning, your creation always have a look of wonder about them!
I share this fascination! and love what you did with this one. Even the name "skeleton key" sparks the imagination, doesn't it?
It's lovely and so very romantic! Theresa
Gorgeous! Skeleton keys fascinate me, too. I'm delighted to hear you have a stash to keep making such amazing creations. :D
So delightful and enchanting, Julie! Love the colours.
There's a sense of history in these old objects and your work tells stories with them. Beautiful!
I love what you do with keys! I bought a whole bunch to make jewelry to sell, but then I put almost all of them on a steampunk belly dance belt for myself instead! I'm a greedy little pixie sometimes.
Oh treasures indeed - this is just beautiful!
Magical- I LOVE this!
