Explorations Into Liminality

Forgotten Beauty

I stepped into the garden, with the golden rays of Autumn illuminating petals and wings.

I considered the fragile, fleeting beauty of small worlds on the periphery of my vision.

And I wondered at the eyes that seek beauty and the symbols that remind us...

To look for that which is lost or forgotten.

How beautiful! My garden did nothing this year and is still struggling to recover from the winter freeze. I saw ONE hibiscus flower the other day, one. Although the Birds of Paradise did put on quite a show; don't know how they managed; nature is so surprising. But no giant elephant ears, no gardenias, very little azaleas, blah blah blah. I'd fall down dead if I could keep a rose bush safe from nematodes and black spot for more than a week. Living in FL ain't all That! Until winter comes, then it's tra la la wonderful 'cuz there's no snow, but gosh your garden is making me jherlish. Course, your jewelry always makes me jherlish. Mwah!
